It is not enough to expect our spouses to honour us just because we are married to them. We must endeavour to be useful to them. We must recognize the difficulty in respecting a person who is not helping you. Many a spouse who are not helping their partners are still demanding to be highly regarded by them. That may be right but it's not fair.
